In the fall of 1894, William H. and C.S. Church began construction on a 60-room boarding house at the foot of Ocean Street — featuring a French roof, gas lights, and steam heat for year-round operation.

A century later, a meticulous restoration brought modern comfort to every room while honouring the original Victorian character. History and luxury, sharing one address.

This summer, creativity takes center stage at the Inn of Cape May with the arrival of the Alexandre Henrique ArtStudio collection.

Opening May 16th and running throughout Summer 2026, this exclusive showcase transforms the Inn into a living gallery—where guests and visitors alike can experience bold, contemporary works in a setting as timeless as Cape May itself.
